This is a tribute to Paul Harrison Hunt also known as Merty.
Paul was stabbed to death on 24th July 2003 on the doorstep of the house he had lived in for 20
years.

Paul was stabbed through no fault of his own and his killer pleaded guilty to murder and was
sentenced to life in prison with an order to serve a minimum of 12 years.

12 years is not justice as far as we are concerned we have a life sentence which wont ever end we
have to carry on despite the hurt and pain that we face every day.

Paul was the life and soul of everyones party there was not ever a dull moment with him around he
was so funny and cheered everyone up.

He was very popular and lived his life to the full. he would start partying on a friday night and
finish monday morning (and still go to work!)

He was a massive city fan, football mad! He just loved life altogether.

He is missed so much and has left a gap in many peoples lives.

LOVING YOU IS EASY WE DO IT EVERY DAY, MISSING YOU IS THE HEARTACHE THAT WILL NEVER GO AWAY. IF
HEAVEN HAD A NUMBER WE D CALL YOU ON THE PHONE TELL YOU THAT WE MISS YOU AND ASK YOU TOO COME HOME

Rest in peace my darling and watch over us all love you always xxxx

Its 3 years tomorrow since your funeral we had to wait 4 weeks for them to release your body which was really hard on us all especially your poor mum.
We sent you off in style though with your blue man city coffin and your horse drawn carridge. there were hundreds at the funeral which just went to show how loved you were and still now at your grave people are always coming and leaving you things especially cans of lager!!!

thinking of you have so many funny memories of you i laugh for ages....like when you used to walk down the street with your bum showing or how if you used to like your dinner you would lick the plate like a kid...even in restaurants!!
